My Occupation

Mostly retired 'peace time disabled vet', broadcaster, writer, humble pilgrim, and sojourner of the Son.

I call this "18 and ready to soar". I soared 190
miles south of my hometown and spent most
of my 4 years there. Offutt AFB was great, &
those years of 'relative' peace from 1976 to 80
were a time I wonder if we'll ever see again.
It's hard for me to express the admiration, respect
and gratitude I have for the men and women who
volunteer for combat in some of the most
treacherous regions the world has ever known.
With all my heart and soul I thank our fighting
men and women and someday I hope I have the
honor of serving you with same dedication you
have served this blessed Nation! Thank you, and
I pray God bless you and keep you safe, and I
pray God watch over and bless your families as
they await your return. Shalom!
